Who We Are

Founded in 2012 by senior packaging professionals with more than three decades of industry experience.

Over the years they had seen the same packaging failures repeat: leakage, corrosion, weak seals, transport damage and non-compliance with standards. The cause was rarely a lack of materials or technology. It was the gap between theoretical knowledge and shop-floor practice.

PCRI was set up to close that gap. From the start it has worked as a packaging clinic: a challenge is diagnosed systematically, the root cause is identified, and the answer is built on material science, packaging engineering and applicable standards rather than trial and error.

Today PCRI is a knowledge-driven, industry-focused institute working with industry, government bodies, academic institutions, research organisations and packaging professionals across food, pharmaceutical, FMCG, agriculture and allied sectors.

  • NeutralNo material to sell and no supplier to protect.
  • Practice-orientedAnswers that work on a running line, not only on paper.
  • Standards-basedBIS, ASTM, ISO, TAPPI, ISTA and the regulations that apply to your market.
  • Under one roofTest, train, advise, audit and research in the same institute.
