PCRI's quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 by Interglobal Business Process Private Limited, under IAF and KAB accreditation.

The laboratory is assessed against Good Laboratory Practices by WRG Certifications, whose certificate is held under the American International Accreditation Organization, Bureau of Accredited Registrars.

The institute operates as Packaging Clinic & Research Institute LLP. It was first registered as a partnership firm in Hyderabad in 2012, and is registered as a micro enterprise under MSME Udyam and for GST.
